Softball Recap: Muleshoe Takes a Loss

Muleshoe and Jacksboro squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Muleshoe had to settle for second. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 12-2. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Mules couldn't push the score so high this time.

Muleshoe saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adalie Agundis, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and one double.

Muleshoe moved to 24-9 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Jacksboro, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 24-12-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Tigers beat Muleshoe by a score of 7-0 on Friday.
