Salisbury won against Madison on Tuesday with 17 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 17-5 margin over the Marceline Tigers. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by seven runs or more this season.

Salisbury pushed their record up to 9-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Marceline, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-10.

Looking ahead, Salisbury will take on Schuyler County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rams have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season. As for Marceline, they will face off against Polo at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
