Ganado is 9-1 against Tuba City since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Hornets will look to defend their home field against the Warriors at 11:00 a.m. Ganado is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.

On Monday, Ganado came up short against Page and fell 6-3.

Kaleb Descheny was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run.

Meanwhile, Tuba City hadn't done well against Window Rock recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Warriors came out on top in a nail-biter against the Fighting Scouts, sneaking past 11-10. That's two games straight that the Warriors have won by just one run.

Cheyenne Dodson and Paaquaphongnom Honahnie did most of the damage at the plate: Dodson scored two runs and stole four bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances, while Honahnie went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Dodson is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season. Destiny Huminimptewa was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Tuba City always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .622. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The win made it two in a row for Tuba City and bumps their season record up to 3-10. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of one runs across that stretch. As for Ganado, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.

Ganado was able to grind out a solid victory over Tuba City when the teams last played back in April of 2024, winning 25-21. Will the Hornets repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
