Football Recap: Klein Oak Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It was a proper cat-fight when Klein Oak duked it out with Tomball Memorial on Friday. The Panthers fell 46-42 to the Wildcats. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Despite the loss, Klein Oak saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Micah Rhodes rushed for 256 yards and four scores while picking up 12.8 yards per carry, and also picked up 31 receiving yards.

Tomball Memorial was led to victory by Jacob Kubeczka and Carson West. Kubeczka rushed for 69 yards and three touchdowns, while West gained 187 total yards. Those 69 rushing yards gave Kubeczka a new career-high.

Klein Oak's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Tomball Memorial, their record now sits at 4-6.

As of now, neither Klein Oak nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
