Baseball Recap: Enloe Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Enloe's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Broughton Capitals on Tuesday. The Eagles have struggled against the Capitals recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

Enloe saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elijah ?Eli? Ferguson, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Enloe's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Broughton, they moved to 11-8 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Capitals beat Enloe by a score of 10-4 on Thursday.
