Baseball Preview: North Pocono Trojans vs. Berwick Bulldogs
North Pocono is 4-0 against Berwick since March of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The North Pocono Trojans will head out on the road to take on the Berwick Bulldogs at 4:15 p.m. Berwick took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on North Pocono, who comes in off a win.
North Pocono had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 6-3 victory over Wilkes-Barre.
Cole Dymek made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and only two hits while striking out six over five innings pitched. Dymek was also big at the plate, scoring two runs.
In other batting news, Aidan Bassi was incredible, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Josh Staples, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
