Old Forge and Honesdale are an even 3-3 against one another since April of 2023, but likely not for long. The Blue Devils will be playing in front of their home fans against the Hornets at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Old Forge's favor as the team sits on six straight wins at home while Honesdale has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

On Wednesday, Old Forge came up short against Holy Cross and fell 7-3.

Jake Iacavazzi made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season.

Meanwhile, Honesdale started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Riverside. They lost 14-5 to the Vikings on Wednesday.

Levi Martin was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs.

Old Forge's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Honesdale, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-10.

Everything went Old Forge's way against Honesdale in their previous meeting back in April, as Old Forge made off with a 12-0 victory. Will the Blue Devils repeat their success, or do the Hornets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
