Baseball Recap: Ingraham Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Ingraham waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on Silas with a sharp 8-1 victory. The result was nothing new for Ingraham, who have now won eight contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Blake Stauff looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Brendan Doyle was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryce Campbell, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Ingraham's win bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Silas, their loss dropped their record down to 12-8.

As of now, neither Ingraham nor Silas have any future games scheduled.
