Volleyball Recap: Pomperaug Takes a Loss

Pomperaug lost against Naugatuck back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Panthers fell 3-1 to the Greyhounds.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 21-25, 25-23, 25-13.

Despite the loss, Pomperaug saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Abby O'Connell had five digs and two aces.

Pomperaug's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pomperaug will host Nonnewaug at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Naugatuck, they will be playing at home against Seymour at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
