Basketball Game Preview: Ozark Catholic Academy Griffins vs. St. Joseph Bulldogs

After both having extra time off, the Ozark Catholic Academy Griffins and the St. Joseph Bulldogs will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Joseph took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Ozark Catholic Academy, who comes in off a win.

Ozark Catholic Academy is headed into the game having just posted their biggest victory since February 9th two weeks ago. They were the clear victor by a 38-14 margin over Eureka Springs. The win was some much needed relief for the Griffins as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, St. Joseph came up short against Conway Christian last Friday and fell 46-37.

St. Joseph has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season. As for Ozark Catholic Academy, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-8.

Ozark Catholic Academy was taken down by St. Joseph 50-9 when the teams last played back in February of 2020. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Ozark Catholic Academy was down 36-2.
