University Prep Value had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Animo Venice Pirates a 9-0 shutout. Considering University Prep Value have won six contests by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Animo Venice from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Bryan Monzon led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

University Prep Value now has a winning record of 9-8-1. As for Animo Venice, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. University Prep Value will venture away from home to take on New Designs University Park at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Animo Venice, they will head out to square off against WISH Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Animo Venice will be up against WISH Academy's rather soft defense (which has allowed nine goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
