Midlakes and Newark are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2018, but likely not for long. The Screaming Eagles will be playing at home against the Reds at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Midlakes and four for Newark.

Mynderse Academy hit Midlakes with a six-run third inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Screaming Eagles lost 12-2 to the Blue Devils.

Meanwhile, Newark came up short against Campbell-Savona on Monday and fell 10-7.

Midlakes' loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Newark, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Everything went Midlakes' way against Newark when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Midlakes made off with a 17-0 win. Do the Screaming Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Reds turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
