Crown Point won the last time they faced Wells, and Trevor Harris did his part to make sure it happened again. The Crown Point Panthers escaped with a win on Wednesday against the Wells Wells CSD by the margin of a single free throw, 62-61 for which the team can thank Harris, who dropped a double-double with 31 points and 15 rebounds. His evening made it 43 games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points.

Tyler Bowman was another key player, putting up 12 points and eight boards. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in assists (three).

Chase Brooks and Hunter Passmore certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Brooks posted 29 points, while Passmore en route to 15 points in addition to eight assists and eight rebounds. Brooks has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last eight times he's played. Another player making a difference was Owen Humphrey, who scored six points and four steals.

Crown Point is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-11 record this season. Wells' loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-4.

Crown Point has already played their next game, a 78-59 defeat against Wells on the 21st. As for Wells, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 43-36 victory against Seton Catholic Central on the 15th.
