Volleyball Recap: North Gaston Takes a Loss

North Gaston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Lincolnton Wolves, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2021.

While North Gaston was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-8, 25-22.

North Gaston's loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Coincidentally, North Gaston and Lincolnton will both be playing Bessemer City the next time they take the court. The Wolves will head out to face the Yellow Jackets at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Wildcats will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
