Volleyball Recap: Valley Indians vs. Nelsonville-York Buckeyes
Valley's game two weeks ago was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Nelsonville-York Buckeyes. The Indians were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Buckeyes, so the Indians were just returning the favor.
Kendyl Christman paced Valley's offense, picking up 12 kills. Christman got some help from Katelyn Queen and her 34 assists. Evayah Vice controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.
Valley has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. As for Nelsonville-York, their loss dropped their record down to 12-12.
Looking ahead, Valley will square off against Eastern at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Nelsonville-York does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
