Basketball Recap: Xenia Takes a Loss

Xenia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss. They were dealt a 57-17 defeat at the hands of the Oakwood Lumberjacks. While losing is never fun, the Buccaneers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 710th, while the Lumberjacks are ranked 284th).

Xenia's loss dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Oakwood, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-6.

Xenia will head out on the road to challenge West Carrollton at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Oakwood, they will square off against Brookville at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
