Volleyball Recap: McNary Takes a Loss + How To Watch

McNary came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the South Salem Saxons. The Celtics have struggled against the Saxons recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-14, 25-12.

South Salem can attribute much of their success to Ellenia Setzer, who had 14 digs and one assist. Those 14 digs gave Setzer a new career-high.

McNary's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for South Salem, they pushed their record up to 16-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coming up, McNary will be playing in front of their home fans against Sprague at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Salem, they will be taking part in a tournament against West Linn at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
