Basketball Recap: New Berlin West Comes Up Short

New Berlin West lost against Milwaukee Lutheran back in January of 2020, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The New Berlin West Vikings fell just short of the Milwaukee Lutheran Red Knights by a score of 82-80.

Xavier Allen continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Milwaukee Lutheran, going 8-for-17 en route to 26 points and five steals. Allen is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Makhai Jewell, who went 6-for-10 from beyond the arc on his way to 22 points.

New Berlin West's loss dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Milwaukee Lutheran, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-10 record this season.

As of now, neither New Berlin West nor Milwaukee Lutheran have any future games scheduled.
