Baseball Game Preview: Southeast Warren Warhawks vs. West Central Valley Wildcats

Southeast Warren has gone a perfect 6-0 against West Central Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Warhawks will host the Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. Southeast Warren will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

While Southeast Warren's win against Nodaway Valley wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Warhawks narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Wolverines 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Warhawks have posted since June 9th.

Meanwhile, West Central Valley came up short against Woodward-Granger on Monday and fell 6-1. The Wildcats have struggled against the Hawks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

West Central Valley's loss dropped their record down to 7-12-2. As for Southeast Warren, their victory bumped their record up to 12-6.

Everything went Southeast Warren's way against West Central Valley in their previous meeting back in June of 2024, as Southeast Warren made off with an 11-1 win. Will the Warhawks repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
