After only ten points in their last game, Eastern made sure to put some points up on the board against Trimble on Friday. The Eagles claimed a resounding 35-6 win over the Tomcats. Considering the Eagles have won three matchups by more than 28 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Eastern got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ethan Edwards out in front who rushed for 761 yards while picking up 10.6 yards per carry. Those 761 rushing yards gave Edwards a new career-high. Braxton Yonker was another key passer, throwing for 625 yards and seven touchdowns while completing 74.5% of his passes.

Eastern now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Trimble, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-3.
