Soccer Recap: North Kitsap Comes Up Short

If North Kitsap was feeling good fresh off their 4-1 takedown of Kingston on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Vikings lost 5-1 to the Port Angeles Roughriders on Saturday. North Kitsap fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Port Angeles since Saturday.

North Kitsap's loss dropped their record down to 8-3-1. As for Port Angeles, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season.

While North Kitsap had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
