Baseball Recap: McClatchy Comes Up Short

McClatchy blew Antelope out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Antelope got their revenge. The Lions fell just short of the Titans by a score of 3-1. The matchup marked the Lions' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

McClatchy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Matt Cuevas, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

McClatchy's loss dropped their record down to 15-3. As for Antelope, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Coming up, McClatchy will face off against River Valley at 9:00 a.m. on Monday. The Lions are facing the Falcons at the right time seeing as the Falcons are stuck on a 13-game losing streak. As for Antelope, they will square off against Laguna Creek at 12:30 p.m. on Monday. The Cardinals will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Titans surely won't give up without a fight.
