Soccer Recap: Evansville Memorial Starts off Right with Win over Evansville Central

Evansville Memorial had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Their defense stepped up to hand the Evansville Central Bears an 8-0 shutout on Saturday. Ivan Bennett was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Evansville Memorial will look to takes advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they takes on Evansville Reitz at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
