Central Lafourche waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They put the hurt on the Morgan City Tigers with a sharp 17-1 win. This was payback for the Trojans, who suffered a 12-11 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Central Lafourche's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-6. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Morgan City, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.
