Volleyball Recap: Excelsior Springs Comes Up Short

Excelsior Springs lost against Maryville back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tigers lost 3-0 to the Spoofhounds. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-11, 25-13.

Jordin Price paced Excelsior Springs' offense, picking up seven kills. Price got some help from Lillah Shue and her ten assists.

Excelsior Springs' loss dropped their record down to 2-10-1. As for Maryville, their victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-4.

Coming up, Excelsior Springs will face off against Lexington at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Maryville, they will head out on the road to take on Lafayette at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
