Basketball Recap: Swansea Triumphs

It was a proper cat-fight when Swansea took on Batesburg-Leesville on Tuesday. The Swansea Tigers came out on top against the Batesburg-Leesville Panthers by a score of 26-16. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 42-25 last Tuesday.

Swansea has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.8 points per game. As for Batesburg-Leesville, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Swansea will head out to square off against Fairfield Central at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Batesburg-Leesville will take on Brookland-Cayce in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
