Softball Recap: Ludlowe Find Success

Ludlowe came out on top against Danbury on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run seventh inning. The Falcons walked away with an 8-4 victory over the Hatters. This was a revenge game for the Falcons: when they faced off against the Hatters back in April, they had to take a 3-0 loss.

The team relied heavily on Lauren Santa Barbara, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Gia Patrone, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.

The win made it two in a row for Ludlowe and bumps their season record up to 9-12. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for Danbury, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-7.

As of now, neither Ludlowe nor the Hatters have any future games scheduled.
