Kennedy beats Panorama for their fifth straight win

Recap: Kennedy Cougars vs. Panorama Pythons

The Kennedy Cougars had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Panorama 55-20 at home. The result was nothing new for Kennedy, who have now won four games by 35 points or more so far this season.

Kennedy found their leader in underclassman Diego Montes, who rushed for 82 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries, and also threw for 230 yards and two touchdowns while completing 91.7% of his passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Alonzo Fuentes-gutierrez, who rushed for 80 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.

Kennedy's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Panorama, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kennedy will take on Van Nuys at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th. As for Panorama, they will be playing at home against Canoga Park at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th. Canoga Park comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
