Soccer Recap: Wyoming Valley West Takes a Loss

After soaring to four goals the game before, Wyoming Valley West was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They fell just short of the Dallas Mountaineers by a score of 2-1. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Wyoming Valley West couldn't quite close it out.

Wyoming Valley West's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-2. As for Dallas, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wyoming Valley West will challenge Greater Nanticoke Area at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dallas, they will square off against Abington Heights at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
