Soccer Game Preview: Mason Classical Academy vs. Neumann

The Mason Classical Academy Paladins are taking a road trip to face off against the Neumann Celtics at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mason Classical Academy will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

While Mason Classical Academy's victory against Donahue Catholic wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Paladins skirted past the Shamrocks 2-1. Two seems to be a good number for Mason Classical Academy as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of goals in their previous game.

Meanwhile, after a string of seven wins, Neumann's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. 2026 welcomed they with a 6-1 loss courtesy of Aubrey Rogers. Having soared to a lofty eight goals in the game before, Neumann couldn't push the score so high this time.

Neumann's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4-1. As for Mason Classical Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2-1.

Mason Classical Academy suffered a grim 7-0 defeat to Neumann when the teams last played back in November of 2025. Can the Paladins avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
