Volleyball Recap: Newton Comes Up Short

Newton was the 3-0 winner over Jasper County when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Rams fell 2-0 to the Hurricanes on Thursday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-11.

Newton has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season. As for Jasper County, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Newton has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Shiloh on the 26th. As for Jasper County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Redan on the 21st.
