Basketball Recap: Central Academy Takes a Loss

Central Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Greenhills Gryphons and fell 47-12. If the Falcons were looking for revenge after losing 43-7 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Central Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Greenhills, their win ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Ypsilanti at 5:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Greenhills will also get a bit of a break before their next contest: they'll face off against Cranbrook Kingswood at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Greenhills is facing Cranbrook Kingswood at the right time seeing as Cranbrook Kingswood is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
