Basketball Recap: Burlington Find Success

Burlington won the last time they faced Prairie View and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Burlington Wildcats came out on top in a nail-biter against the Prairie View Buffalos, sneaking past 29-26.

Burlington found their leader in sophomore Alexa Splechter, who posted 11 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Grace Birk was another key player, putting up six points.

Burlington's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Prairie View, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 8-3-1 record.

Burlington didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 56-49 win against Iola on the 31st. Prairie View has also already played their next contest (against Kansas City Christian School), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
