Volleyball Recap: Seneca Takes a Loss

Seneca lost against Corry back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bobcats lost 3-0 to the Beavers.

When it comes to explaining why Seneca lost, don't look at Samantha Harvey. Despite the final result, she had 15 digs. Harvey has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Corry to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brynley Watrous, who had 16 digs and two assists. That's the most digs Watrous has posted over her last 11 contests. Naomi Brown also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Seneca has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9-3 record this season. As for Corry, the win keeps them at an undefeated 22-0-3.

Seneca didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Cathedral Prep on the 30th. As for Corry, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Fairview on the 30th.
