Basketball Recap: Jefferson Wins Going Away Against Conrad

The Jefferson Panthers didn't have too much trouble with the Conrad Cowboys on Friday as they won 62-46. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Tyler Frydenlund had an outrageously good game as he dropped a double-double with 16 points and 14 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Caleb Morris, who went 8-for-14 on his way to 18 points.

Jefferson smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in five consecutive contests dating back to last season.

Jefferson now has a winning record of 2-1.

Jefferson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 49-47 defeat against Shepherd on the 13th. As for Conrad, they will venture away from home to square off against Fairfield at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
