Shamokin Area is a perfect 4-0 against Towanda since September of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Indians will face off against the Black Knights at 7:00 p.m. Shamokin Area's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for 16 straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

On Saturday, Shamokin Area came up short against Loyalsock Township and fell 3-1.

Towanda fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They came out on top against Meadowbrook Christian by a score of 3-1 on Saturday.

Towanda's victory bumped their record up to 4-13. As for Shamokin Area, their loss dropped their record down to 0-16.

Shamokin Area took their win against Towanda when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 6-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
