Concordia faced Rock Creek in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Panthers had just enough and edged out the Mustangs 2-1. Those two runs were actually the fewest the Panthers have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Concordia's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Rock Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.

Coming up, Concordia will welcome Wamego on Tuesday. The Panthers are facing the Red Raiders at the right time seeing as the Red Raiders are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Rock Creek, they will head out on the road to face off against Chapman at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mustangs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Irish have averaged an impressive 10.8 runs per game this season.
