After a string of four wins, Bellingham's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 8-5 to the Oak Harbor Wildcats. The Bayhawks were not able to make up for their loss to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Eli Goodbuffalo was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. CR Griffith was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Bellingham's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Oak Harbor, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Bellingham is set to challenge their familiar foe Lakewood at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Oak Harbor will square off against rival Lynden Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
