Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Cowyn Glass and Bryson Jatta Lead Hillgrove to Victory

It was a Battle of the Birds when Hillgrove faced off against South Cobb on Tuesday. The Hillgrove Hawks came out on top against the South Cobb Eagles by a score of 64-57. This was a revenge game for the Hawks: when they faced off against the Eagles last Tuesday, they had to take a 77-73 defeat.

Leading Hillgrove to victory were Bryson Jatta and Cowyn Glass. Jatta dropped a double-double with 19 points and 12 boards, while Glass went 5-for-12 to rack up 18 points and three steals. The dominant performance also gave Jatta a new career-high in blocks (four). TaRenz Collins was another key player, putting up seven points.

The victory made it two in a row for Hillgrove and bumps their season record up to 19-8. As for South Cobb, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-11.

Hillgrove has already played their next contest, a 78-58 loss against McEachern on the 13th. South Cobb does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
