Soccer Game Preview: South Kitsap vs. Spanaway Lake

The South Kitsap Wolves will venture away from home to face off against the Spanaway Lake Sentinels at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Kitsap will be strutting in after a victory while Spanaway Lake will be coming in after a loss.

While South Kitsap's win against Yelm wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Wolves won by a goal and slipped past the Tornados 2-1. South Kitsap haven't had any issues with Yelm recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Spanaway Lake's offense. They lost 6-0 to Sumner on Thursday. While losing is never fun, Spanaway Lake can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 116th, while Sumner are ranked 11th).

South Kitsap's win bumped their record up to 4-7-1. As for Spanaway Lake, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-5-1.
