Basketball Recap: Hamilton Comes Up Short

Hamilton lost to Brookfield Central back in December of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Chargers fell 60-47 to the Lancers.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Brookfield Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than Liv Witon, who shot 75% from the field en route to 18 points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Anna Rusch, who went 6-for-12 to rack up 16 points along with eight boards and six assists.

Hamilton's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Brookfield Central, they moved to 9-5 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Hamilton will welcome West Allis Hale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Chargers will be up against the Huskies' rather soft defense (which has allowed 61.35 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Brookfield Central, they will head out on the road to face off against Germantown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lancers' defense better be ready for this one: the Warhawks have averaged an impressive 65.3 points per game this season.
