Basketball Recap: Ambassador Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Ambassador Christian Academy lost against King's Christian last Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Ambassador Christian Academy took a hard 36-20 fall against the King's Christian Knights. Ambassador Christian Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead King's Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lily Welsh, who went 5 of 9 on her way to 12 points in addition to seven boards and six assists. Those six assists gave Welsh a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Angelina Alicea, who posted five points along with eight rebounds and seven steals.

Ambassador Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for King's Christian, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-12.

Ambassador Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for King's Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Gloucester County Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Gloucester County Christian will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something King's Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
