Soccer Recap: Montrose Starts Season with Loss at Home + How To Watch

Montrose unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They lost 7-1 to the Mid Valley Spartans on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Montrose of the 1-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Looking ahead, Montrose is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Holy Redeemer at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mid Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Western Wayne at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
