Softball Recap: Palestine Takes a Loss

Palestine lost against Hudson back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats lost 21-1 to the Hornets. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Palestine saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Shelby Hughes, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Palestine's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Hudson, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 16-11-1.

While Palestine had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
