ConVal proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by 20) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Lebanon Raiders 65-63. This was payback for the Cougars, who suffered a 54-37 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 4-7. As for Lebanon, they dropped their record down to 1-10 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. ConVal will take on Pembroke at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pembroke will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something ConVal surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lebanon, they will square off against Plymouth at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Lebanon is facing Plymouth at the right time seeing as Plymouth is stuck on a 14-game losing streak.
