Basketball Recap: The Ehrhart School Takes a Loss

The Ehrhart School played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Good Samaritan HomeSchool Hornets and fell 65-19. The Eagles were down 53-12 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Despite the loss, The Ehrhart School saw an underclassman step up: freshman Acen Gobert posted six points.

Leading Good Samaritan HomeSchool to victory were Adam Morrison and Dominic Fogo. Morrison shot 89% from the field to rack up 17 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks, while Fogo went 6-for-11 on his way to 13 points in addition to seven boards and five steals. That's the most points Morrison has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was George Fogo, who shot 45% from the field en route to 12 points and five rebounds.

The Ehrhart School's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Good Samaritan HomeSchool, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

The Ehrhart School has already played their next game, a 75-56 victory against Lighthouse HomeSchool on the 18th. As for Good Samaritan HomeSchool, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 51-38 win against Colmesneil on the 17th.
