Football Game Preview: Nandua Warriors vs. Northampton Yellowjackets + Official Tickets

The Nandua Warriors will venture away from home to take on the Northampton Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Nandua is headed out in good spirits considering the team just ended their winless streak on the road against West Point on Friday. The Warriors never let the Pointers get on the board and left with a 20-0 win. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Warriors just coasted through the last quarter.

It was another big night for Elijah Parker, who picked up 116 receiving yards and one score, and also rushed for 101 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries. Those 101 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Juelz Snead helped out on the ground, rushing for 129 yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Nandua was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 258 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 174 rushing yards in four consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Northampton entered their tilt with Arcadia on Friday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They blew past the Firebirds 44-14. The Yellowjackets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by 27 points or more this season.

Nandua picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 4-5. As for Northampton, their record now sits at 8-1.

Nandua couldn't quite finish off Northampton when the teams last played back in November of 2024 and fell 36-34. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
