Liberty waltzed into their matchup on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They never let the Inglemoor Vikings get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 14-0 on Wednesday.

Avery Huh was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one home run.

Huh wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Malina Aceveda, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double. Another was Mikayla Kato, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Liberty's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-9. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Inglemoor, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-9-1.

Liberty has already played their next contest, a 5-4 win against Seattle Prep on the 13th. As for Inglemoor, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 13-3 victory against Garfield on the 13th.
