Baseball Recap: Paoli Has No Trouble Against Orleans

Paoli was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Orleans on Thursday. The Rams blew past the Bulldogs 7-1. Considering the Rams have won five contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Tyler Hannon was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Peyton Baker was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs.

Paoli has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Orleans, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season.

Paoli will venture away from home to square off against Bedford North Lawrence at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Orleans, they will welcome Springs Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
