Basketball Recap: Delaware County Christian Extends Road Winning Streak to Seven

Delaware County Christian extended their road winning streak to seven games thanks to a huge performance from Khamai Orange. The Delaware County Christian Knights came out on top against The Christian Academy by a score of 72-62 on Tuesday thanks in part to Orange, who went 14 of 21 en route to 39 points along with eight rebounds and seven assists. The matchup was his sixth in a row with at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Laverne Sambola, who posted seven points. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in assists (four).

Delaware County Christian is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 79.3 points per game. As for The Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-6.
